Armitage Hux

Armitage Hux was a human male who served as a general in the First Order's military forces during the New Republic Era. With the backing of Supreme Leader Snoke, Hux commanded Starkiller Base and advanced technology enabling the First Order fleet to track targets through hyperspace. However, Snoke's death derailed Hux's career, compounded by his power struggle with Kylo Ren, who eventually took over as Supreme Leader of the First Order.

Born on the planet Arkanis around the time of the Battle of Yavin, Hux was the illegitimate son of Commandant Brendol Hux and a kitchen worker. After the Galactic Civil War, Armitage fled to the Unknown Regions with his father, Grand Admiral Rae Sloane, and a group of children who became the first stormtroopers of the First Order. By the Cold War, Hux had become a ruthless officer, having orchestrated his father's death, overseen the training of a new generation of stormtroopers, executed Admiral Brooks, and ordered the Starkiller superweapon to destroy the New Republic capital, Hosnian Prime. During the First Order-Resistance War, Hux commanded the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer Finalizer and later the Mega-class Star Dreadnought Supremacy, until its destruction just before the Battle of Crait.

Kylo Ren's rise to Supreme Leader reduced Hux's influence within the First Order. Although he served on the Supreme Council and the High Command, his authority was limited, and he was placed under the supervision of Allegiant General Enric Pryde aboard the flagship Steadfast. Disillusioned with his role in Ren's regime, Hux secretly provided the Resistance with information about the Sith Eternal's fleet, the Final Order, on Exegol, hoping to see Ren defeated. However, Pryde discovered Hux's betrayal and executed him for treason.
